Shenzhen Rhino Stone Innovation Technology Co.,Ltd today announced the official launch of the newly upgraded RHINOSTAR·EH2 Full-Carbon Fiber Portable Dual-Disc Solar Panel Cleaning Brush. Developed based on extensive customer feedback and real-world operational requirements from global markets, the upgraded EH2 features comprehensive improvements in structure, materials, and portability, providing photovoltaic (PV) plant operators and maintenance teams with a lighter, more efficient, and safer cleaning solution.

As global solar capacity continues to expand, improving power generation efficiency while reducing operation and maintenance (O&M) costs has become a key focus for PV asset owners and service providers. Studies have shown that contaminants such as dust, sand, bird droppings, and other debris accumulated on module surfaces can significantly reduce light transmission and negatively impact energy output. As a result, efficient and practical cleaning equipment has become increasingly important for maximizing the performance and return on investment (ROI) of solar power plants.

The core of this upgrade is a new-generation solar panel cleaning device developed through extensive optimization of a proven product platform, incorporating both market demands and feedback from actual field applications.

The upgraded EH2 features a high-modulus full carbon-fiber pole structure, achieving substantial weight reduction while maintaining exceptional strength, rigidity, and corrosion resistance. The pole extends to a maximum working length of 6 meters, meeting the cleaning requirements of most photovoltaic applications. When retracted, it measures only 1.5 meters, allowing it to be easily transported in small pickup trucks, vans, and similar vehicles, significantly improving transportation convenience and reducing logistical challenges.

Compared with conventional long-pole cleaning equipment, the new EH2 delivers a significant advancement in portability. Its lightweight design not only improves transportation and deployment efficiency but also reduces strain on operators’ arms and shoulders during prolonged cleaning operations. This helps minimize fatigue, enhance continuous working capability, and improve operational safety in the field.
